Open Canva supports keyboard shortcuts to help you work faster. Press Cmd/Ctrl + / at any time to view available shortcuts in the app.

Text input shortcuts

Standard text editing shortcuts work in all text fields:

Discovering shortcuts

  • Cmd/Ctrl + /: Opens the shortcuts reference panel
  • Tooltips: Hover over buttons to see their keyboard shortcuts
  • Help & Support: Access the shortcuts list from Settings
Learn gradually: Master the most common shortcuts first (Cmd+Enter to generate, Cmd+Z to undo), then add more as you build muscle memory.

Open Canva is designed for full keyboard navigation:
