Promotion codes at checkout — You can now apply promotion codes when upgrading your plan or purchasing credits. Enter a code during checkout to receive a discount. Promotion codes work across all billing flows, including plan upgrades and one-time credit purchases.Dynamic payment methods — Checkout now automatically surfaces the payment methods most relevant to your region, including local options beyond credit cards. Improved plan entitlement prompts — Upgrade prompts throughout the app are now more contextual and less intrusive. When you reach a plan limit — whether in the upscaler, during generation, or in session settings — the prompt clearly explains what you’ll unlock by upgrading, rather than showing a generic paywall.Clearer credit error messages — When a generation fails due to insufficient credits, the error message now tells you exactly how many credits are needed and how to top up, replacing the previous generic failure notice.Terminology update — References to “designers” throughout the app have been updated to “creatives” to better reflect the diversity of people using Open Canva.Password visibility toggle — The password field on the login and signup screens now includes a show/hide toggle, making it easier to verify what you’ve typed.Refreshed email notifications — Transactional emails — including welcome messages, billing receipts, and generation alerts — have been redesigned with a cleaner layout and updated branding. - Image ordering in batches — Fixed an issue where images in a multi-model batch could appear out of order as they streamed in, causing the grid to jump.
- Stuck HD upscales — Resolved a bug where HD video upscales could get permanently stuck in a processing state. Affected jobs now automatically recover.
- Generation pipeline reliability — Improved convergence logic in the generation pipeline to reduce the chance of jobs silently stalling under heavy load.
