  ## New features

  **GPT Image model support** — GPT Image is now available as a generation option, expanding the lineup of image models you can mix and match in a single run. See [models](/image-generation/models) for the full list.

  **Credit estimate in chat assistant** — The [prompt assistant](/sessions/prompt-assistant) input now shows an estimated credit cost before you send, so you can see what a generation will cost without leaving the composer.

  ## Updates

  **Refined session carousel** — The image carousel modal in [sessions](/sessions/introduction) was tightened up with cleaner generation history and layout controls, making it easier to step through results and compare variations.

  **Streamlined settings** — Token usage and chat quota panels were removed from settings now that everything runs through the unified [credit ledger](/billing/credits). Your generation and chat usage now share a single transparent balance — no more split meters to reconcile.

  ## Bug fixes

  * **Chat message actions** — Stabilized message action behavior so notifications, preview surfaces, and assistant updates stay consistent as you move between chat and generation views.
  * **Generation UI state** — Fixed a class of inconsistencies where generation status could lag behind notifications when switching tabs mid-stream.
