  ## New features

  **New AI models** — Five new models are now available in the [model selector](/image-generation/models): Flux 2 Klein, Grok Video, Sora Pro, Phota, and LTX Retake. Each brings different strengths — from fast image drafts to high-fidelity video generation — giving you more creative options without leaving Open Canva.

  **Session thumbnail previews** — Sessions in the sidebar and search results now display a thumbnail of the most recent generation, making it faster to find and revisit past work. See [session organization](/sessions/organizing) for more on managing your sessions.

  **Free trial for new users** — New accounts now start with a free trial period so you can explore all features before choosing a [plan](/billing/plans). No credit card required to get started.

  ## Updates

  **Cleaner model selector** — The model selector hover cards have been simplified with a flatter layout and easier-to-scan details. Speed labels are now more intuitive, and duplicate content has been removed so you can compare models at a glance. Learn more about [choosing models](/image-generation/models).

  **Smarter credit indicator** — The [credit display](/billing/credits) now uses color thresholds based on your specific plan's credit allocation rather than a fixed value, giving you a more accurate sense of your remaining balance.

  **Better prompt input handling** — Long prompts no longer obscure the generation controls. The prompt editor now scrolls when content exceeds the visible area, keeping buttons and settings accessible regardless of prompt length.

  ## Bug fixes

  * **Video carousel audio** — Fixed an issue where videos in the carousel could play audio unexpectedly when navigating between items.
  * **Sidebar flicker on login** — Resolved a visual glitch where the sidebar could briefly flash or show a spinner during the first page load after signing in.
  * **Paste-to-generate** — Fixed a bug where pasting content into the prompt editor could accidentally trigger a generation instead of inserting the text.
  * **Generation reliability** — Hardened edge cases in the generation pipeline that could cause failures with certain model and setting combinations.
