  ## New features

  **Multi-format video downloads** — You can now download generated videos in MP4, GIF, WebP, and PNG formats. Choose the format that works best for your project, whether you need a high-quality video file or a lightweight animation for the web. Learn more in the [video generation guide](/video-generation/introduction).

  **Email preferences** — Manage which emails you receive from Open Canva. You can now opt in or out of specific notification types directly from your account settings.

  **Invoice and dispute email notifications** — You now receive email notifications for invoice voids, refunds, and payment disputes so you always know the status of your billing activity. See [billing overview](/billing/introduction) for details.

  ## Updates

  **Refreshed branding** — Open Canva has a new set of logos across the website and emails, along with updated homepage copy and trusted-by logos.

  **Improved credit error messages** — When a generation fails due to insufficient credits, the error message now clearly explains why and links you to upgrade options. See [credits](/billing/credits) for how credits work.

  **Terminology update** — References to "designers" throughout the app have been updated to "creatives" to better reflect the community.

  ## Bug fixes

  * **HD upscaling reliability** — Fixed an issue where HD processing could get stuck. The system now automatically recovers stalled jobs.
  * **Video processing stability** — Resolved a crash related to video status tracking that could prevent videos from completing.
  * **Session performance** — Fixed a caching issue that could cause slower session loads for some users.
  * **Billing entitlements** — Resolved edge cases where plan features were not correctly applied after signup or plan changes.
  * **Image batch ordering** — Images in a multi-model batch no longer jump positions while streaming results.
  * **Password visibility toggle** — The show/hide password button on the login and signup forms now works reliably.
  * **Explore page prompts** — Removed incorrect upgrade prompts that appeared for users already on the Starter plan.
